OUR TRAINING PROJECTS
We bring young people closer to the world of the energy transition in order to help shape the professionals of tomorrow who will drive the new economic and energy balance. We do this starting at the high school level, when young people are making important decisions about their academic future, and we continue the work at the university level, to guide career choices during the years of specialized training.

5 steps for a woman to become an engineer
A project dedicated to women secondary school students in their second to last year, carried out in collaboration with ENEA – the National Energy Efficiency Agency to encourage female high school students to pursue STEM subjects. A journey into the world of engineering and the energy transition that aims to outline a path of study and work that will be useful in facing the new challenges of climate change.
Technical English & Circular Economy at the ITTS of Pistoia
Together with the ITTS Fedi-Fermi of Pistoia, we are working to spread the themes of the energy transition among students of the last 3 years of high school: a concrete and direct way to help shape the professionals who will lead the energy transition. To complement this training, our Foundation also offers orientation sessions to the students for job placement and the enhancement of their technical qualifications.
A Hydrogen City in the year 2050 designed by students in Milan
It was a full immersion into the world of hydrogen and the future of the energy transition for the students of Milan's Liceo Stendhal. Four senior classes were involved in in-person classes held by MAIRE Group experts during which the potential of H2 was explored in detail. The course was organized in two stages: first the students were introduced to the complexities of hydrogen guided by the experts in the field, and then they developed a design-proposal for a Hydrogen City. Workshops and laboratories used role play to imagine a future hydrogen-powered city.
We are collaborating with the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay and the National Institute of Technology Karnataka on a series of seminars aimed at enhancing the understanding of the main topics related to the energy transition: hydrogen, the circular economy, and the regeneration of individual molecules from waste. With this initiative, we are supporting the education of humanistic engineers in India by providing undergraduate and doctoral students with a broader view of the energy sector.

We support young high school students, providing them with the tools to look beyond technical confines and grasp the concrete needs of the environment, territories and communities.
TRED, the first High School network created for the Ecological and Digital Transition
We are participating in the TRED project in Elis, the first experimental High School Network that explicitly aims to unite humanistic knowledge with technological knowledge, theory with practice, and prepare the professionals who will have to work in concrete and practical terms for the Ecological and Digital Transition. To date, the TRED project has already involved 850 young people.
National Chemistry Games
We support the National Chemistry Games, an event that in 2023 involved 800 venues hosting more than 1,200 competitions with 45,000 participants. The top 6,000 finalists qualified for the regional round, which was hosted at various universities across the country. The top 100 advanced to the national round held in Rome, where there were 9 winners; of these, 4 went on to represent Italy in the Chemistry Olympiad, in which the best students from 100 countries around the world participate each year.
Summer School on Hydrogen
We supported the second Hydrogen Summer School on Hydrogen Technologies, an initiative organized by ENEA with the Department of "Energy Technologies and Renewable Sources" (TERIN) together with the Italian Association of Chemical Engineering (AIDIC) and the Department of Chemical Engineering Materials Environment" of Sapienza University (DICMA). The graduate school, open to doctoral students, researchers and young professionals, offers a key opportunity to train the humanistic engineers of the future. It aims to provide a comprehensive and broad view of the potential of hydrogen as a driver of the energy transition, from production to transportation, opportunities to critical issues, as well as potential economically viable implementations for the use of hydrogen in the energy sector.
